"Head Found in Pot": Autopsy Reveals Late Abby Choi Was Dismembered by Ex-Husband, Shocking Findings [World Star Issue]

An autopsy revealed that the late Hong Kong model and socialite Abby Choi was killed after being struck multiple times on the head with a blunt object.

According to foreign media reports, including the South China Morning Post (SCMP), on the 5th (local time), forensic specialist Dr. Kwok Ka-kei, who testified as an expert witness at the Hong Kong High Court during the six-week murder trial, disclosed the autopsy results for Abby Choi.

Dr. Kwok testified that the autopsy found Abby Choi had suffered multiple blunt force attacks to the head, resulting in severe skull fractures and brain damage.

According to the autopsy report, Abby Choi sustained a total of seven injuries to her head, with confirmed severe skull fractures and brain damage. Dr. Kwok explained that she likely died within 30 minutes due to asphyxiation or fatal brain damage. He further added that the one-pound hammer seized at the scene matched the murder weapon.

The Prosecution Service believes that Abby Choi's ex-husband, Alex Kong Kong-chi, killed her by striking her head with a hammer while transporting her in a vehicle on February 21, 2023. Parts of the victim's body were discovered at the crime scene in a rural village, and Dr. Kwok testified that he identified the victim's head and bone fragments inside a pot collected from the scene.

Abby Choi's ex-husband Alex Kong, her father Kong Kau, and her brother Anthony Kong Kong-kit, among others, have been indicted on charges of joint murder and are currently on trial. The two brothers previously pleaded guilty to charges of obstructing the burial of a body, and their father, a former police officer, also admitted to the same charge. This trial is being presided over by Deputy Judge Brian Keith and a jury of nine members.
