Actress Hong Seung-hee played two characters simultaneously in "Bideokkeutdo Eopsi, Neoda."

The production press conference for the Lifetime Sunday-Monday drama "Bideokkeutdo Eopsi, Neoda" (directed by Yoon Jong-ho and Lee Seung-hun, written by Byeon Sang-soon, hereinafter referred to as "Bideokneoda") was held on the afternoon of the 19th at The Saint Grand Ballroom in D-Cube City, Gyeongin-ro, Guro-gu, Seoul. Director Yoon Jong-ho, Jung Yong-hwa, Hong Seung-hee, Han Chae-ah, and Cho Jae-yoon attended.

Regarding her role in "Bideokneoda," Hong Seung-hee stated, "I took on the roles of Oh Hae-ra, who has a backstory involving a misunderstanding, and Cha Hong-du, who truly believes in the world she once loved."

Having played two characters, he explained, "After reading the script and acting, I realized that they were ultimately one person, so there was an internal connection. I focused on that aspect while performing."

He continued, "Every time I felt difficulty, the director at the set guided me a lot and helped me out. I also unknowingly relied heavily on the senior actors I worked with in sync. Thanks to them, I was able to finish well," expressing his gratitude.

When asked about his chemistry with lead actor Jung Yong-hwa, Hong Seung-hee replied, "I thought it was fortunate that Tae-bong was (Jung) Yong-hwa senior. He created a comfortable atmosphere from the moment we first met. As a result, not only I but everyone on set was able to shoot in a lively and enjoyable manner."

"Bideokkeutdo Eopsi, Neoda" is an unprecedented and unpredictable bold romance that begins without beginning or end when a melodrama master actor with a fatal flaw meets a mysterious woman who believes she is the female lead in his drama. Director Yoon Jong-ho, known for the dramas "Riding on Jeong San" and "Married Woman Killer," and Director Lee Seung-hun of "Doctor Shin" co-directed the series.

Jung Yong-hwa plays "Um Tae-bong," a Hallyu star who is a melodrama master but absolutely refuses to film kiss scenes. He is a top star with outstanding looks and acting skills, as well as a confident personality, but he harbors a fatal secret that he cannot reveal to anyone. Hong Seung-hee takes on the role of "Oh Hae-ra," who comes to believe she is "Cha Hong-du," the female lead in Um Tae-bong's drama, after an accident. She is set to switch between the timid and fearful Oh Hae-ra and the bold and fearless Cha Hong-du, a "dual personality" (?).

"Bideokkeutdo Eopsi, Neoda" will air its first episode on the Lifetime channel at 10:50 p.m. on the 24th. In Korea, it will be available on TVING and LG Channels. Overseas, it is scheduled to be released on Japan's representative OTT platform through ACROSS, which distributed "She Was Pretty" and "Climax," as well as on Viu, Asia's representative OTT platform.
