Jung Yong-hwa of "Bideokkeutneoreul" (Without Beginning or End, It's You), after a four-year hiatus from public appearances, called the project "a gift-like work," adding that he had refrained from filming other romantic comedies out of loyalty to this series.

Jung Yong-hwa, of the group CNBLUE and an actor, will showcase a romantic comedy for the first time in three years through "Without Beginning or End, It's You."

The press conference for Lifetime's weekend drama "Without Beginning or End, It's You" (directed by Yoon Jong-ho and Lee Seung-hun, written by Byeon Sang-soon, hereinafter referred to as "Bideokkeutneoreul") was held on the afternoon of the 19th at The Saint Grand Ballroom in D-Cube City, Gyeongin-ro, Guro-gu, Seoul. Director Yoon Jong-ho, Jung Yong-hwa, Hong Seung-hee, Han Chae-ah, and Cho Jae-yoon attended.

Jung Yong-hwa introduced his character Um Tae-bong in "Bideokkeutneoreul," saying, "He is a top star who holds an enormous secret. He has a tsundere charm—gruff on the outside but deep inside."

Jung Yong-hwa is set to present a romantic comedy after three years. He joked, "It has been quite a while since I did a romantic comedy. After filming this work, out of loyalty, I did not film any other romantic comedies until this project was released."

He continued, "I had been waiting for this work continuously, and it is good that I can show it to you like a gift."

When asked why he chose to appear in this work, he replied, "It felt very comfortable while reading the script, and since the director is from my hometown, we got along well verbally. I thought there would be much to gain from making this work, so I filmed it with excitement."

"Without Beginning or End, It's You" is an unprecedented, unpredictable, and bold romance that begins without beginning or end when a male actor, a master of melodrama with a fatal flaw, meets a mysterious woman who believes she is the female lead in his drama. Director Yoon Jong-ho, known for the dramas "Riding on Jeon San" and "Married Woman Killer," and Director Lee Seung-hun of "Doctor Shin" co-direct the series.

Jung Yong-hwa plays Um Tae-bong, a Hallyu star who is a master of melodrama but absolutely refuses to film kiss scenes. He is the best star with outstanding looks and acting skills, and a confident figure, but he harbors a fatal secret that he cannot reveal to anyone. Hong Seung-hee plays Oh Hae-ra, who comes to believe she is "Cha Hong-du," the female lead in Um Tae-bong's drama, after an accident. She is set to switch between the timid and fearful Oh Hae-ra and the bold and fearless Cha Hong-du, a "dual personality" (?).

"Without Beginning or End, It's You" will air its first episode on Lifetime Channel at 10:50 p.m. on the 24th. In Korea, it will be available on TVING and LG Channels. Overseas, it is scheduled to be released on Viu, a representative Asian OTT platform, and in Japan, it will be distributed through ACROSS, which has distributed titles such as "She Was Pretty" and "Climax," on a major Japanese OTT platform.
