BTS (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) has officially confirmed their comeback on March 20. This marks the group’s first full-member album release in approximately three years and nine months, following their anthology album Proof, which was released in June 2022.

The comeback date was first revealed through handwritten letters recently sent by BTS to their fandom, ARMY. To mark the New Year, the members personally wrote letters that were delivered to fans’ homes. Along with expressing gratitude to fans who have steadfastly supported them, the members hinted at their comeback by writing the date “2026.03.20” on the paper.

Each member also shared heartfelt handwritten messages:
RM wrote, “I have been waiting more earnestly than anyone.”
Jin said, “Thank you so much for waiting.”
SUGA shared, “Let’s enjoy this year together as well. I love you.”
j-hope wrote, “What we imagined has finally become reality!”
Jimin said, “The year when we meet has arrived.”
V added, “In 2026, we’ll make even more and better memories together, so please look forward to it!”

Jungkook wrote, “I miss you! Please take good care of us this year as well.”



The letter was prepared as a special gift for ARMY members who have maintained their Weverse membership and shared memories with BTS over the past three years. Members who did not receive the physical letter will be able to view the same message on Weverse in late January, ensuring that fans both in Korea and overseas can share in the members’ sentiments after waiting together.



On the final day of 2025, BTS also welcomed the New Year with fans through a full-group live broadcast on Weverse. Reflecting on the past year, they shared their hopes for the year ahead, saying, “We hope to make a safe comeback this year and that the album does well. Let’s make BTS a huge success.”



Meanwhile, following the release of their new album on March 20, BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour. Further details regarding the album and tour will be announced later through official channels.
