Former BIGBANG member T.O.P is making a surprise comeback as a singer.

On the 1st, T.O.P announced the news of his comeback through his personal social media account.

He released a video along with the message, “A NEW ALBUM IS ON THE WAY. TOP SPOT – Multi-Perspective [ANOTHER DIMENSION],” confirming that he will return with a new album later this year. This marks his return to music just one year after resuming acting through Netflix’s Squid Game 2 last year.

With BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary, attention is focused on his declaration of a solo comeback.

Previously, T.O.P promoted as a solo artist in 2013 during BIGBANG’s activities with the track “DOOM DADA.” Following BIGBANG’s 2022 release “Still Life” (Spring Summer Fall Winter), he placed his singing career on hold. In 2016, T.O.P was convicted for marijuana use and received a sentence of 10 months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence. After a period of self-reflection and public disputes with fans, he suspended activities before returning to the public eye through Squid Game 2.

As T.O.P returns as a solo singer for the first time in 13 years, there is significant interest in what kind of music he will present.
