BTS’s V shared a heartwarming moment with fans after receiving a Christmas gift from a taxi driver.

At around 2 a.m. on December 23, V went live on Weverse for about three minutes. Upon arriving home, he appeared slightly excited and said, “I turned this on for a moment because I have something to brag about. Listen to this.” Holding something in his hand, he continued, “On my way home today, the taxi driver said, ‘This is a surprise gift, a surprise gift. A Christmas present — Turkish chocolate,’ and gave it to me. I said thank you, really thank you, and accepted it. I came here just to show it off.”

V happily showed the chocolate he had received, gazing at it for a while and gently fiddling with it in his hands, his face filled with joy. He had gone live late at night simply to share with fans the happiness he felt from the taxi driver’s unexpected act of kindness. Fans were touched, commenting that “the taxi driver brought joy not only to V, but to fans all around the world.”

The chocolate V proudly displayed to fans was Tuvana, a Turkish chocolate. After V ended the livestream, the chocolate quickly sold out. Although the manufacturer, Tayas Gıda, announced that the product was restocked four hours later, it sold out again almost immediately, leaving many fans expressing disappointment at missing the chance to purchase it. The chocolate company later posted on its official social media, writing, “A small gift, a big smile. Today, we witnessed a beautiful moment,” and shared an image of V holding the chocolate from his livestream. The company added that the moment brought them “great happiness and motivation,” and expressed gratitude to V.

Ahead of Christmas, V shared a fairy-tale-like message that happiness does not come from grand things, but can be found in small, everyday moments. It was a three-minute broadcast that once again embodied V’s beloved nickname, “Myeongdong-young” — a face like a masterpiece painting, a personality like a fairy tale, and a life like a movie.
