BTS’s Jungkook Sets New Spotify Records — ‘Seven’ and ‘GOLDEN’ Become the First Asian Solo Works to Chart for 118 and 102 Weeks Respectively
BTS member Jungkook continues to demonstrate his immense global popularity by setting new records on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.
Jungkook’s solo debut single “Seven” (released in 2023) ranked No. 87 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global Chart for the period of October 10–16.
With this, “Seven” has achieved an unprecedented milestone — becoming the first and longest-charting song by an Asian solo artist, remaining on the chart for 118 consecutive weeks.
Meanwhile, Jungkook’s first solo album “GOLDEN” (released in November 2023) climbed three spots from the previous week to reach No. 73 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global Chart for the same period.
“GOLDEN” has also made history as the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist on the chart, maintaining its position for 102 consecutive weeks.
