BTS’s Jin has once again proven his global popularity by taking the top spot in the Mubeat fan vote.
Jin was named Artist of the Month for July in the “Fan Vote” category in the Mubeat Artist Report, published by the global K-pop fandom platform Mubeat. According to Mubeat’s Fandom Research Lab, the Mubeat Artist Report analyzes K-pop artists’ activities each month across four categories: digital performance, albums, videos, and fan voting.
The scores in the Mubeat Artist Report are calculated as the total sum of the four categories, based on data from Circle Chart (digital, albums), YouTube (videos), and Mubeat (videos, fan votes).
Mubeat’s K-pop fan voting is conducted weekly, and the report’s fan vote scores are compiled by aggregating the weekly tallies into monthly data. Jin earned 263,334 votes (17.3%) for his solo track “Don’t Say You Love Me”, securing first place in the fan vote category for July. Analysis of Jin’s fan voting data revealed that Korean fans accounted for the highest share at 44.1%, followed by Japan (22.8%) and Russia (8.2%), showing overwhelming support from both domestic and international fans.
Jin has now ranked in the overall Top 5 of the Mubeat Artist Report eight times in total, including an impressive streak of five consecutive months in the Top 5 from October last year through February this year.
In particular, he has dominated the “Fan Vote” category, taking No.1 a total of five times (October and November last year, January, February, and July this year), setting an outstanding record.
On Mubeat’s K-pop Fan Vote, Jin also achieved remarkable success with various tracks: the title track “Running Wild” from his album Happy and pre-release single “I’ll Be There” each claimed a total of four weeks at No.1; his OST “Close to You” also held No.1 for four consecutive weeks; and most recently, his Echo album title track “Don’t Say You Love Me” topped the chart for another four weeks.
With these achievements, Jin has become the only artist to be inducted into Mubeat’s K-pop Fan Vote Hall of Fame four times—in its 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th terms—solidifying his unrivaled presence and superstar status.
Released on May 16, Jin’s second mini album Echo features the title track “Don’t Say You Love Me”, a pop song with a restrained composition and understated sound that conveys a wistful atmosphere, which has been met with enthusiastic response. With this track, Jin also took No.1 in Mubeat’s themed fan vote for “Best English Song That Captures the Heart,” once again showcasing his global appeal.
“Don’t Say You Love Me” previously made history by debuting at No.1 on Spotify’s Global Chart (May 25), becoming the first song by an Asian artist in 2025 to top the global chart. It has now surpassed 360 million streams on Spotify, further demonstrating Jin’s immense digital power.
