The music video for boy group NCT WISH’s summer song “Surf” has been released.

Dropped at 6 PM on August 12, “Surf” is a pre-release track from NCT WISH’s third mini album. It’s a funky and refreshing hybrid dance-pop song, with lyrics comparing the excitement and freedom of youth to surfing, as if riding and cutting through the waves. The track’s bright vocals and rhythmic melody deliver a burst of cool energy.



To fully capture the vibe of “Surf”, the music video was filmed entirely on location in Bali. It showcases the sparkling ocean, brilliant sunshine, and stunning natural scenery, all paired with the lively, summery appearances of the six members. The story follows NCT WISH as a surfing club striving to become the best surfers, but finding even more joy in simply playing together. The playful narrative adds charm, while choreography featuring wave-like highlight moves and breezy dance sequences that match the lyrics have been met with an enthusiastic response.



Upon release, “Surf” reached No. 1 on Melon’s HOT100 chart (as of the 30th on its release day) and peaked at No. 17 on the TOP100. The music video also ranked No. 2 on YouTube Korea’s Trending Videos chart and No. 3 on China’s largest music platform QQ Music’s Korean Music Video chart, proving the strong interest from global fans.
