Even after 10 years of debut, the time for the group Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) continues.


Seventeen, who started as a 'self-producing idol' and has achieved the most and first K-pop titles, has become an irreplaceable entity. With annual album sales of 10 million copies, the highest first-week sales in K-pop history, and conquering global stages, they have set milestones in K-pop history. Even at the peak, Seventeen's momentum continues. Their 5th full album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', released to commemorate their 10th anniversary, is a declaration of Seventeen's rebirth and a challenge towards eternity. The members, who released the new album on the 26th, shared a sincere Q&A through Pledis Entertainment.


Q. How do you feel about releasing a new album to commemorate your 10th anniversary?


Joshua: This album is released on Seventeen’s birthday, so it’s very meaningful. I hope our Carats (fandom name) enjoy it too.


DK: First of all, thank you for allowing Seventeen to be together for 10 years. We prepared this album as a commemorative gift for us and a gift of good music for our Carats. We would be grateful if you love it a lot.


Vernon: It feels like just yesterday that we debuted, and now it’s already our 10th anniversary. I’m curious about everyone’s reaction to the album, as it contains new musical aspects.


Q. What are the listening points for the 5th full album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY'?


The8: This is the first Seventeen album to include 13 individual songs from each member. You will be able to feel each member’s unique color.


Mingyu: I think the biggest listening point is the title track 'THUNDER'. It's a song that has given Seventeen a fresh and exciting inspiration after 10 years of activity!


Q. What are your future challenges and goals?


S.Coups: I want to work hard to repay the love of our fans. It’s important to move forward as Seventeen, but the time we spend with our fans who have been with us is also precious, so I want to continue activities that are worthy of that. All 13 of us will show you a wonderful side!


Hoshi: I want to create more opportunities to communicate deeply with more fans in the future. It would be rewarding and valuable if we could show through new challenges that communication with fans is the driving force of our lives. Personally, I want to further showcase my versatility as an artist.
