"Thinking of Hye-rumi every day" — Hye-ri sheds tears at China solo fan meeting, a huge success

Hye-ri successfully concluded her solo fan meeting in China, reaffirming her popularity among local fans.

On October 17, Hye-ri held her solo fan meeting titled "Unreplaceable / Only One" at the Qingdao Shanghe International Exhibition Center in Qingdao, China, where she met with Hye-rumi (her fandom name) to share a one-of-a-kind special time.

Reuniting with Chinese fans for the first time in about a year, Hye-ri took the stage with an excited smile. The audience enthusiastically welcomed her by chanting "I love Lee Hye-ri" in unison, holding up slogans that read "We are Only One to each other."

Hye-ri evoked memories by playing various games reminiscent of iconic scenes from works she has appeared in. Throughout the missions, she actively engaged with the audience and readily accepted fans' suggestions, fully displaying her devoted "fan-babo" (a term for a celebrity who is overly attentive to fans) side, bringing joy to Hye-rumi.

Toward the end of the performance, a surprise event video prepared by the fans filled the screen.

After watching the video that looked back on her past activities and expressed fans' sincere wishes for her future, Hye-ri shared her thoughts with red-rimmed eyes: "I think about Hye-rumi every day and have been waiting only for this day to meet you all. Thanks to the hearts and love you showed me today, I feel like I can overcome any difficulties that may come my way. As we look back on the time we spent together today, I hope you will spend the rest of 2026 happily."

Meanwhile, Hye-ri is set to appear as an MC on "Style Words," a Disney+ original variety show scheduled to air in 2026.
