Newcomer actor Yoo Jung-yoon has joined as the first signed actor under Woosun Entertainment, led by Jang Dong-ju, marking the start of her official acting career.
Woosun Entertainment announced on the 19th that it had signed an exclusive contract with Yoo Jung-yoon as its first signed actor. The company stated, "Based on systematic management, we plan to support her full-fledged activities as an actor."
Yoo Jung-yoon is a newcomer actor who possesses diverse cultural backgrounds and fluent English skills based on her study experience in the United States. Prior to her official debut, she has built experience on musical and theater stages, honing her acting abilities and stage expressiveness, and is preparing for a new leap based on her unique personality and potential.
In particular, Yoo Jung-yoon is known to have received consistent acting training for approximately five years from the Jang Dong-ju (CEO) director of Woosun Entertainment, systematically strengthening the fundamentals and expressiveness required as an actor.
Woosun Entertainment determined that after a long preparation process, Yoo Jung-yoon has reached a stage where she can showcase her abilities on actual production sets, and plans to begin full-fledged preparations for her official debut with this exclusive contract.
The company stated, "This exclusive contract is significant in that it marks the entry of a newcomer actor who has prepared through long-term acting training into the field," adding, "We will actively support her by developing her acting abilities and personality while expanding her scope of activities as an actor through various works and projects."
It further added, "We plan to actively explore the possibility of entering the global market beyond domestic activities, leveraging Yoo Jung-yoon's fluent English skills and study experience in the United States as strengths," and stated, "We will look for opportunities for overseas auditions and participation in works so that she can challenge various global projects, including overseas films and dramas such as Hollywood, and continue to provide long-term support so that she can grow into an actor with competitiveness on the international stage."
Meanwhile, Jang Dong-ju has been taking new steps as an entrepreneur since announcing his retirement from acting last May.
