넷플릭스 창업자 테드 서랜도스가 '유퀴즈'에 출연하려고 했었던 비하인드가 공개됐다. 13일 오후 방송된 tvN '유 퀴즈 온 더 블록'(이하'유퀴즈')에는 넷플릭스 아시아 태평양 콘텐츠 김민영 총괄, '사랑의 밥차' 김옥란, 드라마 '눈물의 여왕'으로 돌아온 배우 김수현이 출연했다.
이날 방송에서 넷플릭스 김민영 총괄은 "창업자 테드는 정말 평범한 사람이다. 한 달에 한 번 정도 정기적으로 면담한다. 서로 지금 무슨 생각을 하고 있는지를 묻고 발전적인 대화를 나눈다"고 말했다. 이에 유재석과 조세호는 "CEO 테드 씨가 '유퀴즈'에 출연할 뻔했었다. 코로나 때문에 입국하지 못해서 무산됐다"고 아쉬움을 드러냈다.
