보이 그룹 샤이니 온유의 정규 1집 'Circle'(써클)이 미국 빌보드(Billboard) 선정 올해 최고의 K팝 앨범으로 손꼽혔다.29일(현지시간) 공식 홈페이지를 통해 발표한 '2023년 최고의 K팝 앨범 25(The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2023)'에서 지난 3월 발매된 온유 정규 1집 'Circle'은 빌보드가 1위를 차지했다.
또한 엑소 정규 7집 'EXIST'(엑지스트), 디오 두 번째 미니앨범 '기대', 레드벨벳 정규 3집 'Chill Kill'(칠 킬), NCT DREAM 정규 3집 'ISTJ'(아이에스티제이), 에스파 세 번째 미니앨범 'MY WORLD'(마이 월드) 등도 랭크됐다.
특히 빌보드는 "온유는 첫 정규 앨범 'Circle' 제작에 직접 참여, 믹싱, 마스터링 등 모든 측면에 관여하며 예술적 표현에 힘썼다. 이 앨범은 온유의 15년간 경험을 토대로 성숙한 성찰을 담아냈다"고 호평한 것은 물론, 타이틀 곡 'O (Circle)'과 수록곡들도 조명했다.
