가수 이찬원의 생일(11월 1일)을 맞아 팬들이 뜻깊은 기부로 의미를 더했다. 이찬원 팬클럽 '경남찬스'는 이찬원의 생일을 기념해 10월 30일 경남 창원시에 500만 원 상당 친환경 주방 세제 1700개를 기탁했다.
'경남찬스'가 기부한 주방세제는 창원시 아동복지시설 90개소에 전달될 예정이다.
'경남찬스'는 "지난 6월 이찬원이 창원특례시 승격을 축하하는 행사에 초대되어 감동적인 무대를 선보인 인연으로 창원특례시에 기부를 추진하게 됐다"고 밝혔다. '경남찬스'는 "앞으로도 이웃사랑 나눔을 실천하여 모범적인 팬덤 문화를 구축하는 데 노력하겠다"고 전했다.
한편 이찬원은 최근 친환경 세제 '슈가버블' 광고 모델로 발탁, 활약 중이다.
