The music awards ceremony and festival MMA will be held at Inspire Arena, Korea's first K-pop arena.
Melon, the music platform of Kakao Entertainment (CEOs Jinsu Lee and Seongsoo Kim), announced that it will hold 'The 15th Melon Music Awards, MMA2023 (MELON MUSIC AWARDS)' at the Inspire Arena on Saturday, December 2nd. Inspire Arena is located in Yeongjong Island, Incheon and is a K-POP exclusive arena.
The slogan of MMA2023 is ‘K-POP CHANGES the WORLD’. Melon explained that it contains the intention to enjoy the moment when my cheers become everyone's enthusiasm and to meet the great power of music that has united the world through MMA2023.
According to officials, the teaser will be opened on the 27th and the official schedule will begin, and the TOP 10 voting and category voting to select the most loved artist of the year will begin next month.
The 'Millions TOP 10' award, which will be presented for the first time at MMA2023, will nominate the TOP 30 'Millions Albums (albums that have achieved more than 1 million streams within 24 hours)' in the Melon Hall of Fame, and will then award the TOP 10 through fans' votes. 
The existing 'Best Music Style Award' will be renovated and 'masterpieces' in which artists have contributed to the diversity of popular culture by revealing their own genre and style will be selected through a review by music experts and votes from fans.
MMA2023 will be broadcasted in real time on Wavve in addition to the Melon app and web, and can be watched through ABEMA TV in Japan.
