가수 임영웅의 팬들이 어려운 아동을 위한 기부로 따뜻한 사랑을 전했다. 임영웅 팬클럽 '거제 영웅시대'는 임영웅의 생일(6월 16일)을 맞아 (재)거제시희망복지재단(이사장 김원배)에 롤휴지 55개와 핸드 페이퍼 55박스 등 330만 5500원 상당 물품을 6월 15일 기부했다.
거제시희망복지재단 김원배 이사장은 지난해에 이어 올해도 지역 아동들을 위해 나눔을 실천해준 '거제 영웅시대'에 감사를 전하며 기부한 물품들은 거제 관내 지역아동센터 11개소에 전달했다.'거제 영웅시대' 회장은 "임영웅의 노래가 주는 감동과 평안함이 더 많은 이들에게 위로가 되어주길 바라며 앞으로도 임영웅의 생일에 맞춰 기부 활동을 계속 이어 나가겠다"고 전했다.
