유튜브에 공개된 뮤직비디오, 음원 영상 등 '사랑은 늘 도망가' 관련 4개 영상은 6월 13일 합산 조회수 8600만 뷰를 넘어섰다.
'사랑은 늘 도망가'는 2021년 10월 KBS 2TV 드라마 '신사와 아가씨' OST로 공개됐다. 임영웅의 감미로운 목소리가 극에 감성을 더하며 드라마 인기에 한몫했다.
임영웅은 '사랑은 늘 도망가'로 2022 서울드라마어워즈와 2022 APAN STAR AWARDS에서 각각 OST 상을 수상하며 'OST 킹' 면모를 빛냈다.
