방탄소년단(BTS) RM이 마침내 솔로 앨범을 내놓는다.빅히트 뮤직은 11일 글로벌 팬덤 라이프 플랫폼 위버스(Weverse)를 통해 오는 12월 2일 RM의 솔로 앨범 'Indigo'가 발매된다는 소식을 전했다.
'Indigo'는 RM의 고민과 생각을 담은 일기 같은 앨범으로, 다양한 아티스트와의 경계 없는 협업을 통해 폭넓은 음악을 선보일 예정이다.
RM은 공지문에 앞서 10일 SNS를 통해 앨범명과 함께 데님이 클로즈업된 무드컷을 공개해 이목을 끌었다.
한편, RM은 2015년 3월 'RM', 2018년 10월 'mono.' 등 자신의 진솔한 이야기를 담은 믹스테이프를 통해 음악성을 입증한 바 있다. 'RM'은 미국 음악 전문 매체 '스핀(SPIN)'이 선정한 '2015 베스트 힙합 앨범 50'에 올랐고, 'mono.'는 미국 빌보드 메인 앨범 차트 '빌보드 200'에서 26위를 차지했다. 문완식 기자(munwansik@mt.co.kr)
