가수 임영웅의 창원 지역 팬들이 산불 피해 돕기 기부를 통해 뜻깊은 나눔을 실천했다. 임영웅 팬클럽 영웅시대 창원은 3월 15일 경북 산불 피해 복구 지원을 위해 대한적십자사 경남지사(회장 김종길)에 기부금 500만 원과 100만 원 상당 생수 1500개를 전달했다.
영웅시대 창원은 "큰 금액은 아니지만 기부에 동참하게 됐다"며 "갑작스러운 산불로 모두가 힘들겠지만 산불 복구로 피해를 입은 이재민들이 하루 빨리 일상으로 복귀했으면 좋겠다"고 전했다. 
영웅시대 창원은 34명의 회원이 활동하고 있는 창원 지역 임영웅 팬클럽으로, 지난해 1월 4일 사랑의열매에 500만 원 기부를 시작으로 8월 19일에는 대한적십자사 경남지사에 선별진료소 의료진 간식 지원을 위한 기부금 500만 원을 전달하는 등 선한 영향력 실천에 앞장서고 있다.
