12월 24일 기준 #임영웅은 인스타그램 게시물 1000만 건을 넘어섰다.
임영웅의 영어 이름 #limyoungwoong 게시물도 820만 건을 기록, 인스타그램에서 임영웅의 뜨거운 화제성을 입증했다.
임영웅은 인스타그램 외 유튜브에서도 12월 23일 127만 구독자를 달성하는 등 소셜 미디어에서 큰 사랑을 받으며 'SNS 제왕' 면모를 빛내고 있다.
한편 임영웅은 12월 26일 KBS 송년특집 단독쇼 'We're HERO 임영웅'을 선보인다. 첫 정규 앨범 신곡을 공개할 것으로 알려지며 방송을 앞두고 더욱더 관심이 뜨거워지고 있다.
