Singer Jeon Somi (SOMI) topped the K-pop radar chart with her new song 'XOXO'.
Jeon Somi's new song 'XOXO' music video has set a record of 25.56 million views during the 45th week of K-Pop Radar's counting period (October 31 to November 6), continuing a surprising rise following her previous work 'DUMB DUMB'.
In fact, the 'XOXO' music video garnered 10 million views in just 19 hours of release, establishing itself as her representative female solo song.
According to Somi Jeon's YouTube views by country analyzed by K-Pop Radar, she received about 45.5 million views in the past week. Among them, Vietnam accounted for the largest share with 13.4%, followed by Indonesia with 10.0%, India with 8.6%, Korea with 6.8% and the Philippines with 5.8%.
In response, K-Pop Radar said, "Jeon Somi has captured both her domestic fandom and her global popularity."
Also, on this week's K-Pop Radar weekly chart, THE BOYZ's 'MAVERICK' music video entered second place with 22.39 million views, showing its potential.
The 'Weekly Fandom Chart', which was established in September, also drew attention. Following the existing 'Music Video Weekly Chart', K-Pop Radar will release the 'Weekly Fandom Chart' to reveal artists who have recorded large-scale fandom expansion.
On the other hand, K-Pop Radar is a fandom data professional service opened by music startup Space Audi to help you understand fandom data at a glance as K-pop grows rapidly.
Currently, 653 Korean artist teams' music video views, YouTube subscribers, Twitter, Instagram, Spotify followers, and fancafe members are provided through a web service in the form of graphs and charts.
Recently, it signed an official partner agreement with Twitter and released the '2020 #KpopTwitter World Map', which drew attention.
