BTS’s Jin Lights Up New York’s Times Square! No.1 in Duckad’s December Popularity Vote

BTS member Jin took first place in the global fandom platform Duckad’s December popularity vote, lighting up a large electronic billboard in New York’s Times Square.

According to Duckad, Jin ranked No.1 in the December poll with a total of 10,686,155 votes. This achievement, made possible by fans’ consistent participation, once again spotlighted Jin’s name at the heart of a world-famous landmark, reaffirming his powerful influence as a solo artist. As a special reward for first place, a large Times Square billboard advertisement was displayed on January 17. The ad carried added significance as it was directly created by fans.

In addition, as part of the first-place benefits, a “favorite-filled movie theater gift” is being offered for one month at Megabox Gangnam Central City. Jin’s images can be seen throughout the venue, including the brand hall lobby main hall, the Famille Shopping Mall entrance, concession stands, ticket boxes, and cafeterias. Before film screenings, a video advertisement is shown in Screen 102 on January 17, and fan-produced videos are also displayed on the reservation screens and printed tickets.

As a bonus benefit, a video vision advertisement at Hapjeong Station is running from January 15 to February 12, allowing fans to see Jin’s name and image across the city.

Meanwhile, Jin continues to demonstrate a strong presence through various popularity polls while actively pursuing his solo career. He was selected as the cover model for SPUR’s January 2026 issue, ranking No.1 on Amazon Japan and selling out domestically. He also appeared on the cover of Marie Claire’s February issue, with all seven pre-order versions becoming bestsellers.

Additionally, the film “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR THE MOVIE,” which captures scenes from his fan concert held in Goyang last June, was released worldwide on December 27, 2025.
