Danielle has shared her first post on social media. The released image contained a handwritten letter she addressed to her fans.

Danielle explained, “I’m writing this letter because I want to hold deeply in my heart a new chapter and a new beginning that we will all face together. Letting go of the time we’ve gone through won’t be easy, but now I want to briefly set the past aside and focus on what truly matters—our hearts, our dreams, and the warm days we will encounter ahead.”

Expressing her gratitude to Bunnies (NewJeans’ fandom), she added, “I can’t say everything right now, but there’s one thing I can say for sure. Where my heart is headed has never changed.” She continued, affirming her affection for the members: “Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein are my second family.”

She went on to emphasize, “Our timing to act together may have been out of sync, but nothing can separate us. That precious bond is a one-of-a-kind connection in this world—something that can never be taken for granted.” She added, “There will be difficulties ahead, but we will move forward while protecting one another. That is the most important thing to me.”

Meanwhile, in December last year, NewJeans’ agency ADOR notified Danielle of the termination of her exclusive contract and filed a lawsuit against her seeking penalties and damages totaling approximately 43.1 billion won.

ADOR also stated, “In Danielle’s case, we determined that it would be difficult to continue working together as a NewJeans member and an ADOR artist, and therefore notified her of the termination of her exclusive contract. In addition, we plan to hold legally accountable one family member of Danielle and former CEO Min Hee-jin, who bear significant responsibility for causing the current dispute and for NewJeans’ departure and delayed return.”
