“20th Anniversary of Debut” Jung Dong-ha Successfully Concludes Seoul Solo Concert

Singer Jung Dong-ha’s 20th anniversary concert celebrating his debut concluded successfully to great acclaim.

On the 20th at 6 p.m., Jung Dong-ha held the Seoul performance of “Jung Dong-ha 20th Anniversary Solo Concert: Holding Time, Painting Memories with Sound” at the Grand Auditorium of Sungshin Women’s University Unjeong Green Campus in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, sharing a meaningful time with the audience. After the opening video played, Jung Dong-ha took the stage and immediately captivated the crowd by opening the concert with “Love” and “A Prayer That Overcomes Sorrow.” He shared the significance of the concert, saying, “I’ve reached the 20th anniversary of my debut. Time really flies,” adding, “Just like the title of the concert, I wanted to capture my time.”

During the performance of “Island,” a self-composed track from his first solo album, the artwork “The Beginning of Memory” was displayed in the background, further deepening the concert’s lyrical atmosphere. As the show continued with songs such as “I Tried Turning a Breakup into a Song,” “The More I Love,” and “I Think of You,” artworks by artist Jo Seon-ah accompanied each stage, enhancing audience immersion. Jung Dong-ha wrapped up the first part of the concert with “It’ll Be Good” and “Don’t Worry, Dear.”

In the second half, SOL Band, who appeared with Jung Dong-ha on Immortal Songs last November and went on to win, joined as special guests, performing “Welcome To My Hotel.” Together with Jung Dong-ha, they also delivered a powerful rendition of “A Beauty,” which they had previously performed together on Immortal Songs, further elevating the atmosphere. Jung Dong-ha then brought the stage to a close with “Again, Snow,” leaving a deep and lasting impression. Toward the end of the concert, he took a group photo with fans, preserving the meaningful moment of his 20th debut anniversary as a cherished memory.

Meanwhile, celebrating his 20th year since debut, Jung Dong-ha released a remake single, “In Front of That House,” on November 14. He continues to be actively engaged across a wide range of fields, including broadcasting, concerts, radio, and musical theater.
