
BTS member Jungkook continues to showcase his global popularity by setting new records on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform.
Jungkook’s solo debut single “Seven” ranked No. 60 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for the period of December 5–11, recording more than 13.3 million streams during the week. The track climbed four spots from the previous week, demonstrating its enduring streaming power. “Seven” achieved a historic milestone by charting for 126 weeks, the longest run ever for a song by an Asian solo artist.
The track has also surpassed 2.69 billion streams on Spotify, making it the first song by an Asian artist to reach this figure, and is now approaching the 2.7 billion mark.
In addition, Jungkook’s first solo album GOLDEN ranked No. 76 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for the same period. GOLDEN has now remained on the chart for 110 weeks, setting another record as the longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist.
