Boy group Stray Kids will take the stage as the first-ever K-pop artist headliner at Brazil’s massive music festival “Rock in Rio.”

Stray Kids will headline the September 11 show of Rock in Rio, a large-scale music festival held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from September 4–7 and 11–13, 2026 (local time). Considered one of the world’s largest music festivals, Rock in Rio began in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 and has since been held in locations such as Lisbon, Portugal; Madrid, Spain; and Las Vegas, USA. Legendary musicians who defined eras—such as Queen, Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Muse—have graced its finale stages. Being selected as both the first K-pop performer and headliner in the festival’s history reaffirms Stray Kids’ global stature.

Stray Kids have previously headlined multiple major international festivals, including:

Lollapalooza Paris (July 2023, Paris, France)

I-Days (July 2024, Milan, Italy)

British Summer Time Hyde Park (July 2024, London, UK)

Lollapalooza Chicago (August 2024, Chicago, USA)

At each event, they delivered standout performances that served as festival highlights.

The group recently concluded their world tour “Stray Kids World Tour ‘DOMINATE’” in October at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, drawing tens of thousands of fans per show as they performed across stadiums worldwide. As part of this tour, they also held their first-ever solo concert in Rio de Janeiro at Estádio Nilton Santos in April, attracting over 55,000 attendees. Now, approximately a year and five months later, they will return to Rio de Janeiro to deliver another top-tier performance worthy of their “stage Michelin” reputation—raising anticipation among global audiences.
