JYP Entertainment boy group NEXZ has released the full music video for “Next To Me,” a B-side from their third mini album—a video that unfolds like a youthful coming-of-age film.



NEXZ (Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Hui, Yuki) released their third mini album “Beat-Boxer” on October 27 and have been actively promoting their comeback. Before the album’s release, JYP uploaded a teaser for the track's music video on their official social media channels, followed by the full version on the afternoon of the 18th. The music video delivers refreshing cinematography filled with youthful charm. It portrays the awkwardness and complexity of encountering unfamiliar emotions for the first time, along with the budding friendship and growth that emerge from that newfound experience. The seven boys’ comfortable and free-spirited chemistry highlights their youthful energy, while the detailed expressions and graceful choreography enhance immersion.



“Next To Me,” the fifth track on the new album, features lyrics that sensibly depict the moment of falling in love with a pure heart. The warm atmosphere is created by bouncy piano melodies blended with rich harmonies. The song was crafted with their fandom NEX2Y (Nexity) in mind, capturing the excitement of moments shared with fans. All members took part in writing the lyrics, with Tomoya participating in composing and arranging, and Haru also contributing to the composition, adding sincerity to the track.



NEXZ performed their title track “Beat-Boxer” on KBS2’s Music Bank on the 14th, MBC’s Show! Music Core on the 15th, and SBS’s Inkigayo on the 16th. With their solid dance skills, they continue to earn praise as “next-generation performance powerhouses” and a “group known for great stages,” drawing reactions such as “NEXZ always deliver the best performances” and “a stage you can trust—NEXZ.”
