Another K-pop First! BTS’s Jimin Sets Record as “Who” Becomes the Most Streamed Song on Spotify Charts in 7 Countries
BTS’s Jimin continues to shine as a leading figure in K-pop, achieving remarkable success on Spotify.
Jimin’s 2nd full album title track “Who” has become the Most Streamed Song on Spotify’s country charts in seven countries—South Korea, Bulgaria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Singapore, and Latvia. This achievement marks the first and only time a K-pop artist has reached such a milestone. In South Korea alone, “Who” has surpassed 83 million filtered streams, maintaining its position as the most streamed song.
Additionally, as of August 24, Jimin’s 1st full album title track “Like Crazy” surpassed 50 million streams on the Spotify Korea chart. With both “Who” and “Like Crazy” exceeding 50 million streams, Jimin became the first and only artist to possess multiple songs with over 50 million streams on this chart.
His record-breaking streak extends globally as well. On October 24, just 461 days after its release, “Who” surpassed 2 billion filtered streams on Spotify’s Global Chart, becoming the first and only solo song by an Asian artist to reach this milestone. It also set the record as the fastest Asian male artist’s track to accomplish this feat.
