Fans of singer Lim Young-woong have demonstrated positive influence by volunteering to deliver meal boxes to neighbors in need.



On November 14, the Lim Young-woong fan club “Hero Generation Band (Sharing Group)” carried out a meal-box volunteer service for residents of Seoul’s Yongsan-gu Dongja-dong jjokbang (single-room) community at the Catholic House of Love and Peace. The group prepared ingredients worth 1.5 million KRW, made the meal boxes themselves, and delivered them as part of their outreach.



This volunteer activity marks the 78th event since they began in May 2020, and as of this day, their cumulative donations have surpassed 100 million KRW. The Catholic House of Love and Peace presented a plaque of appreciation to the “Hero Generation Band (Sharing Group)” for their long-term, consistent donations and volunteer efforts.



The group’s volunteer work began through a connection with one Catholic member and now includes 25 regular volunteers. Though members come from diverse religions and backgrounds, they are united by their passion to “resemble Lim Young-woong’s warm heart and honor his name.”
