BTS Jungkook’s “GOLDEN” surpasses 6.2 billion streams on Spotify
BTS member Jungkook’s solo album “GOLDEN” has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing 6.2 billion streams on the world’s largest music platform, Spotify.
Released in November 2023, Jungkook’s first solo album “GOLDEN” recently exceeded 6.204 billion cumulative streams (before filtering) on Spotify, just 704 days after its release. This marks the first time in history for an Asian solo artist’s album to reach this figure, and it also sets the fastest record among all Asian studio albums. The album continues to show immense power, maintaining 4.5 to 5 million daily streams.
Moreover, “GOLDEN” has successfully entered Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for 100 weeks, becoming the first and only album by an Asian solo artist to achieve this feat.
