미국 영화배우 다이앤 키튼이 별세했다. 향년 79세.11일(현지시간) 피플 등 미국 현지 매체에 따르면 다이앤 키튼은 캘리포니아 자택에서 가족이 지켜보는 가운데 세상을 떠났다.
유족 대변인은 구체적인 사인은 비공개로 하며 "현재로서는 추가적인 세부 사항을 공개할 수 없다. 유족은 깊은 슬픔 속 사생활 보호를 요청했다"고 밝혔다.
다이앤 키튼은 1968년 브로드웨이 뮤지컬 '헤어'로 데뷔했다. 이후 프랜시스 포드 코폴라 감독의 '대부' 시리즈에 출연하며 큰 인기를 얻었다.
