BTS’s Jimin has once again proven his global popularity by charting two songs on Spotify’s “U.S. Weekly Top Songs.”
The title track Who from Jimin’s second solo album MUSE ranked No. 42 on Spotify’s “U.S. Weekly Top Songs” chart (September 19–25), marking its 60th consecutive week on the chart and setting a new record for the longest-charting K-pop solo song. Another track from MUSE, Be Mine, entered the chart for the first time at No. 121—14 months after its release. By sending not only his title track but also a B-side into the chart, Jimin once again demonstrated his immense popularity in the U.S.
Holding the record as the most-streamed K-pop song on Spotify’s U.S. chart, Who has surpassed 410.98 million filtered streams in total. It also became the first K-pop song ever to enter the “Top 100 Most-Streamed Songs in Spotify U.S. Chart History,” where it currently ranks at No. 85.
Meanwhile, MUSE, Jimin’s second solo album and the first and only K-pop album to surpass 400 million streams on the Spotify U.S. chart, has extended its record as the longest-charting K-pop solo album on Spotify’s “U.S. Weekly Top Albums” chart, with 54 weeks to date.
