Girl group Queenz Eye (Wonchae, Ayun, Kirie, Subeen, Jinyul, Seoha) has been featured in an exclusive photoshoot for U.S. magazine Variety, becoming the first girl group to do so following BTS.



According to their agency Big Entertainment on the 4th, Queenz Eye’s exclusive Variety pictorial was recently unveiled. Until now, BTS was the only K-pop act to be featured in an exclusive photoshoot by Variety. For Queenz Eye, being the first girl group to achieve this milestone signifies the potential for greater recognition and influence in the global market, as Variety is a prestigious American magazine known for covering global industry trends and popular culture.



Variety praised Queenz Eye as a group that has keenly captured the shifting dynamics of the K-pop industry. The magazine also highlighted how each member’s individuality is rooted in personal values and authenticity, resulting in a unique yet multifaceted identity.



Furthermore, Variety noted that since Queenz Eye reorganized as a six-member group, each member’s distinct color has contributed to shaping a diverse group identity. It added that Queenz Eye’s path is drawing attention within the rapidly evolving K-pop scene.
