Group RIIZE (Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, Anton) has proven their status as a “ONE TOP” artist in Japan.

According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) last week, RIIZE’s debut song “Get A Guitar” has received a Gold certification in the streaming category, which is awarded to songs that surpass 50 million cumulative streams as of July. This marks the first time a K-pop boy group that debuted after 2023 has achieved this milestone.

Released in September 2023 as the title track of RIIZE’s first single album, “Get A Guitar” gained global love with its funky sound and signature choreography of stomping feet while playing guitar. The track has also achieved 100 million streams on Spotify in 2024, entered Melon’s annual comprehensive chart, and remained on its monthly charts for 15 consecutive months, proving its long-lasting popularity.

With this achievement, RIIZE continues to build an impressive track record in Japan. Starting with being selected among the “Best 3 New Artists (Asia)” at the 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards, the group has since earned Gold Disc certifications based on cumulative shipments: Platinum (over 250,000 units) for their 2024 Japanese debut single “Lucky,” and Gold (over 100,000 units) for their 2025 first full-length album “ODYSSEY.”

Meanwhile, RIIZE is currently on their first world tour “RIIZING LOUD,” covering 22 regions worldwide. After a successful show on August 30 at the NTSU Arena in Taipei, the group will carry the excitement to their upcoming concerts at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium First Gymnasium from September 13–15.
