Group ATEEZ is set to continue their global dominance with a new Japanese album.
On September 1 at 6 p.m., their agency KQ Entertainment released a preview of ATEEZ’s 2nd Japanese full-length album “Ashes to Light” via the group’s official YouTube channel. The preview video revealed snippets of five new tracks, including the title track “Ash” as well as “12 Midnight,” “Tippy Toes,” “FACE,” and “Crescendo.” The unveiling instantly drew explosive reactions from fans around the world.
In addition, the album includes four previously released tracks: “NOT OKAY” (the title track of their 3rd Japanese single), “Days” (B-side from the same single), “Birthday” (title track of their 4th single), and “Forevermore” (B-side). The preview cycled through all of these songs, showcasing ATEEZ’s distinctive vocal colors and broad musical spectrum. Accompanied by vintage-style framed photos of the group, the video captivated both eyes and ears, heightening excitement for the release.
“Ashes to Light” marks ATEEZ’s first Japanese full-length comeback in about four years and six months, since their 1st studio album “Into the A to Z” in March 2021. The album title carries the meaning of “new hope rising from hardships.”
Having just wrapped up their North American tour “IN YOUR FANTASY” with a finale in Mexico City on August 23 (local time), ATEEZ will continue their tour in Japan, holding three shows in Saitama from September 13 to 15 — just four days before the album release. They will then perform in Nagoya on September 20–21 and in Kobe on October 22–23, fueling even greater anticipation from Japanese fans.
ATEEZ’s 2nd Japanese studio album “Ashes to Light” will be officially released on September 17 at midnight.
