Following the news that BTS will make a full-group comeback in March 2026, fans around the world are now speculating that a pre-release track could drop before the year is over. On September 1, Star News reported that BTS will return with a new album in spring next year. Soon after, ARMYs worldwide flooded X (formerly Twitter) with celebratory reactions.



“The Comeback of the Century” — Fans’ Anticipation Peaks

The most liked reaction came from a fan who wrote: “Been waiting 3+ years for this, WE ARE SO BACK.” The post captured the deep yearning fans have felt during BTS’s three-year hiatus since their 2022 anthology album Proof. If BTS releases new music next spring, it would mark their first group track in nearly three years since “Take Two,” the 10th anniversary single released in June 2023. That song was pre-recorded before the members began their military service, after which BTS officially entered their enlistment hiatus following Proof in June 2022.

Another fan exclaimed, “Yes, yes, will be tuning in for the comeback of the century!” while others admitted, “It still feels like a dream,” expressing disbelief and overwhelming joy.
