TWICE’s Chaeyoung has unveiled the music video for AVOCADO (feat. Gliiico), a track from her solo debut album.



JYP Entertainment recently released a teaser timetable image for Chaeyoung’s first full-length album LIL FANTASY vol.1, which hinted at a mysterious piece of content titled “Welcome to LIL FANTASY.” At midnight on the 1st, through TWICE’s official social media channels, the mystery content was revealed to be the music video for AVOCADO (feat. Gliiico), instantly capturing the attention of fans worldwide. With growing anticipation for the music and concept of Chaeyoung’s first solo album, the new MV did not disappoint.



The video begins with a fairytale-like scene of Chaeyoung seemingly being devoured by an avocado, then unfolds into an adventure in which she sets out with Japanese pop band Gliiico in search of the LIL FANTASY castle. Chaeyoung shows off bold styling—including polka dot stockings, a long trailing skirt, and hippie-perm hair—while Gliiico members make their appearances alongside her.



Shot entirely on film, the MV creates a dreamy mood. Stop-motion techniques using clay art and unique props further enhance the fun of watching. As the beginning of a journey into Chaeyoung’s own fantasy universe, the visuals are striking, and her distinct vocals and musical individuality shine through.



The title of Chaeyoung’s first solo album, LIL FANTASY vol.1, refers to the small world that exists within her. With the subtitle “vol.1,” it signals that this story is just the beginning of a continuing series. Following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu, Chaeyoung becomes the fourth TWICE member to go solo, and through her first full-length album LIL FANTASY vol.1, she is set to fully showcase her artistry and unique worldview.



Meanwhile, Chaeyoung’s first solo full-length album LIL FANTASY vol.1, featuring AVOCADO (feat. Gliiico), will be released on September 12 at 1 p.m.
