The dating rumors between BTS member Jimin and actress Song Da-eun turned out to be true.



Song Da-eun, who first appeared on Channel A’s Heart Signal Season 2 in 2018, debuted as an actress in the 2011 MBC drama Can’t Live Without You. Since then, she has built public recognition through dramas, variety shows, and commercials. In 2022, she was swept up in her first dating rumors with Jimin. The reason was that an earphone case shown on her social media had both of their initials on it. In addition, she uploaded photos wearing BTS merchandise, which hinted at a relationship with Jimin. However, Jimin’s side did not make any official statement regarding this.



As a result, Jimin’s fans began flooding Song Da-eun with malicious comments and threatening messages. During a live stream on social media, when one viewer asked her about her relationship with Jimin, she responded, “Why should I talk about someone I don’t even know?” The following year, she made it official on broadcast that she did not have a boyfriend, and when pressed to explain the dating rumors with Jimin, she snapped back, “Wouldn’t it be better to ask him? Why do people always ask me?”



In June, Song Da-eun even fired back at Jimin’s fans, saying, “Just because the idol you like loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be attacked. It’s not like I seduced him first. I’m really angry — I don’t know what I might spill.”



Eventually, Song Da-eun exploded. On her personal social media account, she recently released a video that directly showed her secret meeting with Jimin. In the clip, Song Da-eun is seen waiting in an apartment elevator, and when the doors open, Jimin appears. Jimin says, “Ah, you startled me. Did you know I was coming in? I didn’t tell you on purpose.” The apartment is reportedly a luxury residence in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where Jimin currently lives.
