First collaboration between a K-pop artist character IP and a Korean pro baseball team draws attention

Tomorrow X Together’s (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) official character PPULBATU is teaming up with the LG Twins for a new form of collaboration.

PPULBATU announced via social media the launch of products co-planned and produced with the LG Twins. As the first-ever collaboration between a K-pop artist character IP and a domestic professional baseball team, the project has drawn attention as a symbolic attempt to connect the two industries. Both sides designed the collaboration to create a meeting point where different fan cultures intersect, thereby expanding new fan experiences and reaching a broader audience.



BIGHIT MUSIC stated, “Since both K-pop and baseball have grown based on strong fandoms, we hope this collaboration will provide a special experience for fans of both worlds. We also expect it to bring joy not only to artist fandoms but also to baseball lovers.”



The product lineup includes 15 items such as plush keyrings, headbands, windbreakers, T-shirts, caps, umbrellas, and smartphone grips. It ranges from must-have collectibles for fans to practical goods that can be used directly at the ballpark. Notably, the collaboration products combine functionality with stylish design, highlighting the identities of both PPULBATU and the LG Twins while appealing to both fandoms.



The PPULBATU x LG Twins collaboration products will be available online starting August 20 at 10 AM KST through the Shop tab on global superfan platform Weverse and on LG U+’s commerce platform U+COCK. From August 29, they will also be available offline at select “Ilssang’s Teum” stores and at the Twins Collab Shop inside Jamsil Stadium.
