
The OST of the Netflix animated film “K-Pop Demon Hunters” (hereafter “KDH”) continues to show strong results on the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the Billboard chart released on the 19th (local time), eight tracks from the KDH OST have entered the Hot 100 for the chart dated the 23rd, following last week’s success. Songs including “Golden,” “Your Idol,” “Soda Pop,” “How It’s Done,” “What It Sounds Like,” “Free,” and “Takedown” have now maintained their presence on the Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks.
“Golden,” by the in-film group Huntrix, which topped the chart last week, dropped one spot to No. 2. “Your Idol” by the group Saja Boyz climbed to No. 4. Both tracks have remained on the chart for eight consecutive weeks.
Saja Boyz’s “Soda Pop” ranked No. 10, Huntrix’s “How It’s Done” No. 14, Huntrix’s “What It Sounds Like” No. 24, Huntrix member Lumi’s “Free” No. 25, and Huntrix’s “Takedown” No. 26. Additionally, the version of “Takedown” sung by TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung ranked No. 60.
The KDH OST album itself held onto the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200, the main albums chart, for the second consecutive week. Meanwhile, “Golden” continued to secure the No. 1 position on both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts.
