TREASURE in September → BABYMONSTER in October → BLACKPINK in November

YG Entertainment’s executive producer Yang Hyun-suk has personally announced upcoming album releases from TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, and BLACKPINK, heightening anticipation among global music fans.

On August 18, YG Entertainment posted “TREASURE & BABYMONSTER | YG ANNOUNCEMENT” on its official blog—an interview video of Yang Hyun-suk discussing the label’s artist lineup for the second half of 2025.

Celebrating their 5th debut anniversary this year, TREASURE will release their 3rd mini album LOVE PULSE on September 1. Yang commented, “Back at debut, the members were in their mid-to-late teens and early 20s. Now, they are in their early-to-mid 20s, all as adults. If the past five years were their first act, this album marks the beginning of their second.” He expressed strong confidence in TREASURE’s greater growth in the global music market.

LOVE PULSE will feature four tracks: “EVERYTHING,” “PARADISE,” “NOW FOREVER,” and “BETTER THAN ME.” The title track, “PARADISE,” is a retro disco-funk number. Yang explained, “Since this album will be showcased ahead of the group’s global tour, it’s filled with songs that allow deeper connection with fans. The music videos for title track ‘PARADISE’ and later track ‘EVERYTHING’ will both be unveiled during promotions.”

BABYMONSTER will make their comeback on October 10 with a new mini album. Unlike their recent release HOT SAUCE, the new record will consist entirely of four fresh tracks, with the title song “WE GO UP.” Described as a powerful hip-hop-based anthem embodying the group’s ambition to soar higher, Yang added, “We’ll release both a conceptual music video and a high-quality performance video on par with the MV itself.”

Yang also revealed that recording for BABYMONSTER’s songs scheduled for release next year is already 80–90% complete, assuring fans of consistent future activities. He emphasized that YG’s revamped music system—comprising around 50 in-house producers and frequent song camps with international creators—is now operating smoothly.

News of BLACKPINK’s new album was also officially confirmed for the first time. Yang shared, “Both the members and their producers are working hard. We’re doing our best to have the album ready for release in November.”

At the end of the announcement video, YG surprised fans by unveiling TREASURE’s choreography practice video for the track “EVERYTHING.” The early reveal—two weeks ahead of the album’s release—was unprecedented for YG. The video captured the members’ sweat and passion during practice, heightening anticipation for their comeback.

YG explained, “This video was not filmed for official release but was originally for internal documentation. The members are in their own clothes without makeup, and it was shot only with a cellphone, without any special equipment. We hope fans see it as a heartfelt surprise gift.”
