IU to Hold First Offline Official Fan Event in Two Years… September Fan Meet-Up Confirmed

Singer and actress IU has announced a special gathering with fans through her upcoming fan meet-up, “Bye, Summer.”

On August 8, her agency EDAM Entertainment revealed via IU’s official social media channels that the 2025 IU FAN MEET-UP [Bye, Summer] will take place on September 13 and 14 at KSPO DOME. Alongside the announcement, they unveiled the official poster, which shows IU gazing into the camera with a refreshing and lovely look, evoking excitement. The sky-blue tones and sentimental font complement the concept of the fan meet-up, heightening anticipation.

Bye, Summer marks IU’s first offline official fan event in about two years, following her September 2023 fan concert I+UN1VER5E. The event title is also the name of an unreleased song IU first performed at her concert in Seoul World Cup Stadium last year, and it carries the meaning of “a gentle greeting to summer.” It aims to be a place where IU and her fans bid a final farewell to the season by sharing stories and laughter they’ve exchanged over the summer.

Unlike a stage-centered concert, this event will focus more on interaction with fans, hence the “Fan Meet-Up” format. It is expected to be a warm and intimate space for communication, unique to IU, and distinct from her previous fan meetings or fan concerts.

Tickets for 2025 IU FAN MEET-UP [Bye, Summer] will be available through Melon Ticket, with fan club pre-sales opening on August 11 at 8 PM and general sales on August 13 at 8 PM. Further details can be found on IU’s official social media channels.
