G-DRAGON has officially launched his 2025 world tour with two sold-out concerts at the Tokyo Dome, drawing a total of over 80,000 fans across two days on May 10 and 11.

Titled “G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch],” this tour marks his return to solo touring after an eight-year hiatus since his 2017 Act III, M.O.T.T.E World Tour. Despite the long break, all tickets were completely sold out—setting a historic record as the first K-pop solo artist to do so after such a gap.

The tour is inspired by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s concept of the Ubermensch, and is artistically structured around a three-stage narrative representing the journey of transcending into a "superhuman." The performance combines live band sounds with advanced technology, including AI-driven visual effects, creating a mysterious and grand stage experience.

Special guest Wing, a world-renowned beatbox champion who received explosive reactions in previous Korean performances, added even more energy and richness to the Tokyo shows.

One of the most talked-about moments came when G-DRAGON performed “Today (Feat. Kim Jong-wan of Nell)”, a track from his 2012 album One of a Kind, while riding a dragon-shaped motorcycle, grabbing fans' attention. Later, he sang “Station of One Year” from his 2009 album while riding a giant car-shaped vehicle named TORKKO, moving through the venue to get closer to fans in the farthest seats—delivering a memorable and intimate fan service.

The performance of his new single “PO₩ER”, along with BIGBANG’s full-group track “HOME SWEET HOME,” turned into a breathtaking sing-along moment, as fans passionately joined in and lit up the venue with energy and emotion.
