Kwon Mina, formerly of the group AOA, is set to release a new song in collaboration with Ha Mingi, who is known as the grandson of the founder of a major tteokbokki franchise.
On the 15th, her agency Modernberry Korea announced, “Kwon Mina will release a carol single together with agency trainee Ha Mingi in January 2026.”
The upcoming track is a carol that captures the calm and warmth of a winter night. It marks Kwon Mina’s first new release in seven years since her departure from AOA.
The song also features production by Kim Minsol, a former contestant on Mnet’s audition program I-LAND 2, further elevating its overall quality. Kim Minsol, a WakeOne trainee, drew attention during the show for her outstanding skills and visuals.
Meanwhile, trainee Ha Mingi previously made headlines as the nephew of the CEO of a well-known domestic tteokbokki franchise. He is currently preparing to debut in the boy group Air100 in the first half of next year.
