SHINee member Key has shared an update on his tour activities amid allegations that he has a long-standing personal connection with the so-called “injection aunt” linked to comedian Park Na-rae.
On the 14th, SHINee’s official social media account posted behind-the-scenes photos from the Chicago stop of the tour. In the released images, Key is seen staring into a mirror with a blank expression. He is currently continuing his fourth solo tour, KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley, across the United States from the 3rd through the 15th, with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle.
Due to the tour schedule, Key was absent from recent recordings of tvN’s variety show Amazing Saturday and MBC’s I Live Alone.
However, attention has been drawn to the timing, as it coincides with the emergence of allegations surrounding Park Na-rae’s “injection aunt.” Park Na-rae has come under suspicion for allegedly receiving illegal medical procedures from an individual referred to as “injection aunt.”
The individual, identified as A, drew further scrutiny after posting photos of Key’s pet dog on her social media account, highlighting what appeared to be a close relationship. This led some to speculate whether Key might also be connected to A.
Another SHINee member, Onew, was also mentioned after A posted a photo of Onew’s autographed CD on her social media account, prompting a clarification. On the 11th, Onew’s agency stated, “In 2022, Onew visited a hospital in Sinsa-dong where A was employed for the purpose of skin care,” adding, “The autographed CD was merely a gesture of gratitude for the treatment.”
In contrast, Key has continued to remain silent on the matter.
