방탄소년단(BTS) 정국이 브라질 'BreakTudo Awards 2024'(이하 BTD 어워드 2024)에서 2관왕에 오르며 글로벌 인기를 빛냈다. 'BreakTudo Awards' 공식 계정에 따르면, 정국은 'BreakTudo Awards 2024'에서 '인터내셔널 남성 아티스트'(International Male Artist) 부문을 수상했다.
또 자신의 솔로곡 'Standing Next to You'(스탠딩 넥스트 투 유)로 'K-팝 히트 오브 더 이어'(K-Pop Hit of the Year) 부문을 수상하며 2관왕을 달성했다. 앞서 정국은 2023년 'BreakTudo Awards'에서 '베스트 인터내셔널 라이징 아티스트'(Best International Rising Artist)와 솔로 싱글 'Seven'(세븐)으로 '베스트 인터내셔널 클립'(Best International Clip) 부문의 트로피를 거머쥐었다.
2022년에는 해당 시상식에서 미국 싱어송라이터 찰리 푸스(Charlie Puth)와의 협업곡 'Left and Right'(레프트 앤드 라이트)로 '인터내셔널 컬래버레이션'(International Collaboration)을 수상하기도 했다.
